A rapidly growing manufacturing company is looking for a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer to join their motivated team in Gulfport, MS. advancing process technology with creativity, passion, and unmatched expertise at a global scale.
Full Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software to craft detailed plans and specifications Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, engaging with experts in manufacturing, research and development, and marketing to ensure that their designs align with business goals and market needs Operate and demonstrate company's machines/products Program truck ECU/TCU. Ability to become proficient in the product cost and specifications in order to reconcile quote to build process. Provide safe and effective product design based on government regulations and customer expectations. Obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement within 9 months. (not specifically mandatory) Ability to become proficient in DOT laws as they pertain to truck operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or (other related engineering degrees with 5 years experience). Required 3+ years of Design Engineering experience, or 5 years engineering experience with 2 years design experience. Required 3 years experience in solid modeling software 2D & 3D (preferably Solid Works). Required 3 years experience in hydraulic design and operations. Required Basic knowledge or experience in 12 VOLT DC electrical systems design and operations. Required 2 years experience in finite element analysis (FEA) methodologies. Required #CP101
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
