Onsite Monday-Friday Salary:
$100,000-$120,000 annually Our client, an established manufacturer of industrial equipment, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer II to lead product-development and improvement projects. This position combines hands-on mechanical design, engineering analysis, testing, documentation, and collaboration with manufacturing. What You ll Do Lead mechanical engineering activities for new-product development and product improvements. Develop solutions for product performance issues and Engineering Change Requests. Perform force, torque, stress, power, motion, and design-validation analyses. Conduct finite element analysis as needed. Create manufacturing-ready designs using SOLIDWORKS and
SOLIDWORKS PDM.
Develop drawings, bills of material, test plans, and quality documentation. Build test fixtures and perform hands-on product testing. Work closely with manufacturing teams and outside vendors. Provide technical direction to other project team members. Support a strong culture of workplace safety and housekeeping. What We re Looking For Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering required. 6-12 years of engineering experience in heavy manufacturing or custom machine building. Strong SOLIDWORKS and
SOLIDWORKS PDM
experience. Experience with configurations within
SOLIDWORKS
preferred. Strong drafting skills, including dimensions, tolerances, and engineering symbols. Experience performing stress analysis through hand calculations, Excel, MATLAB, FEA software, or similar methods. Advanced Excel skills; experience creating macros is a plus. Understanding of materials, mechanical systems, and basic electrical concepts. Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, test requirements, and technical standards. Hands-on ability to build test fixtures and validate new designs. Ability to work onsite in Jackson, WI, Monday through Friday.
