This role is a hybrid of hands-on laboratory expertise and strategic program management, focused on developing cleaner propulsion technologies.

Developing new test procedures, commissioning state-of-the-art equipment, and implementing software/automation best practices to improve lab efficiency and repeatability. Act as a bridge between product engineering and the lab, troubleshooting complex equipment issues and cross-training team members on modern test engineering tools.

PM Skills:

Familiarity with EPA, CARB, or global emissions standards. Proficiency in emissions measurement principles, equipment diagnostics, and digital communication protocols (CAN, Modbus). Knowledge of global regulations (EPA/CARB) and signal processing is highly valued. Knowledge of Signal Processing (Filtering, FFT analysis). Technical knowledge and experience with the following is highly desired: Electric machine and power electronics testing, Gas stand thermodynamic testing, NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) and Fatigue testing (High/Low cycle).

7-10 years

Qualifications:

Bachelor???s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (Master???s preferred). Minimum of 6 years (12+ preferred) in engine or industrial exhaust emissions testing within an R D or lab environment. Hands-on experience with emissions measurement hardware (FTIR, FID, NDIR, PM systems). Deep understanding of emissions measurement principles and calibration methods.
