Description:
Maintain, Service, Repair, and Calibrate over 3,000 pieces of unique commercial off the shelf and military equipment that is purpose built for U.S. Army Special Operations. This includes a wide-range of equipment that requires in-depth knowledge of Flame Spectroscopy, ION Mobility Spectrometry, Light Sensitation, and Detection Equipment that monitors neutron flux levels. This position supports our Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) largest service contract vehicle providing a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services.

- This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start. Responsible for maintaining and developing protocols for special calibration gase, volatile organic compounds used for deterctor calibration.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years' experience working in related field. Must be able to obtain and retain a SECRET clearance. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
