Job Description
Engineering role focused on subsystem design, electrical component development, prototype support, testing, and hands-on equipment build activities. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field Experience supporting requirements development and testing of electrical components Experience with electrical diagnostics or equipment data collection Experience developing drawings and managing PDM workflow for parts Experience with hands-on operation, building, and repair of equipment Experience with subsystem design for equipment or machinery Experience with parts modeling in Creo Experience creating drawings for prototype shops or suppliers Experience supporting design decisions with calculations, virtual analysis, and decision analysis Experience with design tolerancing of parts Experience with concepting and prototyping parts such as brackets, weldments, plastics, or castings Preferred Skills Design experience with off-highway or similar equipment Electrical design experience Software experience related to electrical systems Experience supporting mower or battery-powered equipment design Experience providing in-field equipment support Job Responsibilities Support requirements development and testing of electrical components such as lights and alarms Provide support for electrical engineering tasks related to equipment programs Perform electrical diagnostics and collect equipment data Develop drawings and manage PDM workflow for parts Support subsystem design, including parts modeling in Creo and drawing release for prototype shops or suppliers Support machine builds, upgrades, operation, repair, and shop activities Develop concepts and prototypes for brackets, weldments, plastics, and castings Perform part design and tolerancing activities Use calculations, virtual analysis, decision analysis, and design feedback to support engineering decisions Apply product usage knowledge to improve design and customer experience Work with product design, marketing, program management, test engineering, and systems engineering teams Provide in-field support for equipment used in customer feedback activities
