Assistant Engineer - Equipment Boviet Solar Cell Technology North Carolina LLC Greenville, NC Job Details 1 hour ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering Full Job Description Assistant Equipment Engineer - Battery Manufacturing Entry-Level Job Summary We are hiring an Entry-Level Assistant Equipment Engineer to support the commissioning, optimization, and improvement of automated equipment on our battery production lines. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate looking to build hands-on experience working closely with senior engineers and technicians on real production equipment. Responsibilities Assist in the evaluation and improvement of battery production equipment Support equipment commissioning, debugging, and PLC programming/adjustments Help analyze equipment performance data to identify causes of downtime or defects Assist with servo systems, robotics, VFDs, sensors, and industrial communication setup Support electrical troubleshooting, including control cabinets, IO signals, and safety circuits Work alongside equipment technicians on maintenance planning and technical issues Help develop and update equipment maintenance standards, SOPs, and documentation Participate in new equipment installation, qualification, and production ramp-up Support cross-functional projects with production, quality, and process engineering teams Qualifications (Education & Experience)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following (or a related engineering field): Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering / Mechanical-Electronic Engineering Electrical Engineering /
Electrical & Automation Automation Experience:
0-2 years of experience; recent graduates welcome Internship, co-op, or academic project experience with equipment, automation, or controls is a plus
