Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer III to join a leading team focused on advanced automation and precision manufacturing systems . This is a 6-month contract (with strong potential for extension) based in Wilmington, NC (100% onsite) . ????

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop precision mechanical components and automation equipment Work with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for detailed design Integrate motion control systems (servo motors, stepper motors, actuators) Support system integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization Conduct engineering analysis, simulations, and validation Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain technical documentation ?

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering 7+ years of experience in manufacturing and equipment design Strong expertise in automation equipment and mechanical system integration Proficiency in SolidWorks (must-have) Knowledge of motion control systems and thermal/heat transfer principles Strong problem-solving and analytical skills ????
