We are the proven leader in the fan and ventilation market, providing innovative and energy efficient solutions to our business partners and customers. You serve as the key interface between our laboratory and our development projects, taking responsibility for all mechanical-related topics. Your tasks include creating 3D models, producing single-part and assembly drawings, and supporting the build-up of prototypes or customer samples required for our measurements and qualification activities. R D Mechanical Engineer Your main responsibilities will be: Develop new designs and implement modifications to existing 3D models within our CAD system. Create and update technical drawings and bills of materials. Design prototypes with appropriate consideration for manufacturing tolerances and production feasibility. Prepare, assemble, and support the build-up of samples and prototypes for testing purposes. Ensure compliance with mechanical requirements by coordinating internal and external resources in alignment with the qualification plan. Prepare documentation, including declarations of conformity and risk assessments. Plan, execute, and analyze mechanical measurements and associated test results. Provide clear explanations of measurement results in response to inquiries from internal stakeholders and customers. Analyze measurement data according to applicable standards and prepare corresponding reports and executive summaries. Specify, review, and evaluate second-source components. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Professional experience in mechanical design or a closely related field. Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools; experience with PTC Creo is preferred. Demonstrated ability and willingness to collaborate across disciplines and work effectively within project-based structures. Ability to work independently with a high level of responsibility and sound consideration of business impacts. Strong creative thinking and problem solving capabilities. Analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Proactive, forward thinking approach with the ability to meet defined targets and deadlines.
