Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development and improvement of engineering products and processes. This role involves designing, modeling, and testing new product concepts while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The Design Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, present designs to stakeholders, and maintain accurate engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities Design, model, and test new product concepts. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering solutions. Present design concepts to stakeholders effectively. Maintain accurate engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Essential Skills Proficiency in SolidWorks. Experience in mechanical equipment design and optimization. Familiarity with gears, motors, pumps, and conveying systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering. At least 4 years of experience in mechanical design engineering. Experience in design for manufacturing. The industry is dynamic and fun, reflecting the company's lively culture. Typical office hours are from 7:45 AM/8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the office closing at noon every Friday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
