Automated Test Equipment Position Summary:
Marotta Controls is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the Power and Control Actuation Systems (PAS) business unit. The applicant should have a background in Software Engineering with experience in embedded software development and/or hardware (equipment) automation. Essential or Primary /
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of System Requirements Documentation and provide support through the development life cycle (PDR, CDR, Validation, Fielding). Develop Software Design Documents (including Test Plans). Design and Implement High Level GUI Windows Applications in C# using Visual Studio IDE. Database Backend (MS SQL, SQLite, etc.) experience is a plus. Design and implement firmware in C using TI's Code Composer. Experience with LabView (Real Time and LabView FPGA is a plus) Able to use and program various laboratory equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) used to automate testing. Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA) Work with outside vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar is required Experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design Experience designing test systems utilizing a Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA)

$110,000 - $123,000 per year This position is at our Parsippany, NJ office location. Many of our contracts require proof that you are a U.S. citizen and/or that an export license has been obtained for employees who are citizens of certain countries.
