• Las Vegas, NV 89118 Role Overview Venhub is a startup paving the way for smart autonomous physical stores to offer a safe, seamless 24/7 shopping experience using robotics.

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Engineers to join our team on-site in Las Vegas, NV.

Technical Responsibilities:

Develop and test modules that often involve electromechanical actuators and require creative solutions to ensure that part clearances and tolerances are met Identify existing short-comings to improve on current designs Strike a balance between creating novel designs and using commercial off-the-shelf parts to meet design, budget, and reliability requirements Collaborate with software and production team to better integrate, optimize, and iterate on mechanical systems Create detailed documentation for designs and processes Maintain a safe work environment by following industry standards and best practices

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2+ years of proven experience in mechanical design and development (internships/clubs/projects considered) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and project management skills Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Familiarity with GD&T standards and principles Experience with DFM principles Strong fundamental understanding of engineering principles such as: Heat transfer, statics, solid mechanics, and material selection.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with common manufacturing and prototyping methods (machining, SLA/FDM 3D printing, al extrusion framing, sheet metal) Knowledge of electromechanical components (motors/actuators, basic circuitry) Familiarity with different fastening and joining methods (welding, riveting, bolt types) Familiarity with basic mechanical power transmission methods Experience with parts selection and procurement, establishing relationships with suppliers Experience in a small-team setting that requires strong initiative Knowledge of any programming language (C++, Python, Java, etc.) Why VenHub?
