Electro-Mechanical Technician (GRAVE) About CASS Inc. At CASS Inc. , we're advancing sustainable manufacturing by producing high-performance aluminum alloys from end-of-life and recycled products. Position Overview We're seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to support our 24/7 molten manufacturing process. In this hands-on role, you'll diagnose, repair, and optimize complex electrical, mechanical, and control systems essential to our furnace operations. Your expertise will ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety across all systems. Responsibilities Electro-Mechanical Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform preventive maintenance on furnace electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical circuits, mechanical components, and control systems. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and PDI control interfaces. Use diagnostic tools to measure current, voltage, resistance, and mechanical system performance. Repairs & Component Replacement Identify and replace faulty components such as motors, relays, switches, sensors, wiring, and mechanical parts. Conduct inspections and safety testing to verify proper equipment functionality. Coordinate with Service writer for specialized repairs, spare parts, and equipment upgrades. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with production, maintenance, and quality teams to enhance system reliability and output. Maintain accurate records and best practices documentation. Qualifications Electrical background required. Experience in industrial or furnace-based manufacturing preferred. Strong understanding of control systems, mechanical components, and preventive maintenance. Skilled in troubleshooting and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills and strong attention to safety. Ability to lift/pull up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
