JOB SUMMARY
Apply knowledge of pressure vessel design, including ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1 standards, in the design of capital process equipment. Design machinery and systems involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and aseptic process machine production. Conduct stress analyses and finite element analyses (FEA) and work with stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow, heat transfer, instrumentation, controls, and refrigeration systems. You will develop and comprehend large industrial equipment for pharmaceutical and related applications. Manage projects, monitor cost variances, and interact effectively with customers and internal teams. Support equipment start-up and validation activities. Promote and adhere to SHEQ (safety, health, environment, and quality) requirements for yourself, your department, and all contractors and visitors.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or related engineering discipline with 5 to 10 years of experience. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your own workload and that of drafting resources. Proficiency in computer tools and drawing software is required. Ability to work independently with efficiency and strong communication skills.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT
Experience with refrigeration systems and heat transfer applications. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with vacuum systems and stainless steel fabrication. Understanding of electrical distribution, automation, and control systems. Ability to perform advanced stress analysis and FEA. Possesses strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Availability for overtime when required.
SALARY RANGE
$75,000 - $85,000 per year. Bonus.
