Job Duties Design and Development:
Create and refine mechanical components and processes using CAD software. Develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate design functionality and performance. Ensure components meet customer specifications.Analysis and Problem-Solving:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to support project objectives. Communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders. Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution.Manufacturing Support:
Assist in the transition of components to production. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges. Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including technical drawings, processes, and specifications. Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations. Ensure compliance with Rand's AS9100Quality Management System Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Experience in Defense related Manufacturing is a plus. Experience with CNC machining is a plus. Prior Management Experience is a plus. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo). Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication and project management skills.Benefits:
