job summary: Analytical Engineer opportunity near the Garden City, NY area for a direct hire role. This position is ideal for a BSME professional with 2 to 5 or more years of experience in thermal analysis and heat transfer, ideally in the aerospace or a similar industry. Relocation assistance is available via a sign-on bonus for this rewarding position.
Perform critical thermal and structural analyses of complex aerospace hardware using hand calculations, in-house software, and commercial analysis packages.
Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure manufacturability, quality, and compliance with heat exchanger requirements.
Compile and present technical results while generating comprehensive reviews and engineering documentation to support proposals and new product initiatives.
