Job Description
TYMETAL Corp. has a rewarding full-time opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer in our Greenwich, NY office. This individual will work independently on product design, including security gates, TARCO® products and miscellaneous metal fabrication projects. This individual may also support the sales and new product development efforts with the development of submittal drawings and complex production drawings. Why You'll Want to
Perform all necessary design calculations required for the design of metal fabrication projects.
Develop an accurate and complete bill of materials and routings that will be used in the fabrication process.
Create and process work orders.
Work closely with manufacturing, responding to questions and updating drawings based on feedback received.
Assist more senior engineers with new product development and design modifications to existing products.
SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with CNC programming software desired.
Familiarity with document management systems.

Create detailed shop and fabrication drawings to be used in production.Perform all necessary design calculations required for the design of metal fabrication projects.
