Job Description

We are a leading manufacturer of deep-drawn and heavy-gauge stamping products serving the heavy-duty truck, off-road construction, marine, and aerospace industries. We are looking for an experienced Tooling Engineer to drive tooling design, process improvement, and manufacturing excellence across our operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tooling and fixture design for deep-draw and heavy-gauge stamping processes.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to support production, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure projects meet cost, quality, and timing targets.
  • Develop new tooling concepts and enhance existing manufacturing processes for improved safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support APQP activities including PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Participate in CI and Lean events to optimize tooling performance and reduce waste. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in tooling, metal stamping, machining, or sheet-metal manufacturing. Preferred Experience
  • Deep-draw or metal stamping background
  • Tooling & fixture design expertise
  • Machining experience
  • Welding processes: spot, projection, MIG
  • Automation, robotics, and vision systems
ISO/IATF
quality systems knowledge
  • Lean manufacturing and CI experience Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino, or SolidWorks (preferred)
  • Ability to read/interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models
  • Understanding of CAD/CAE principles
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities.
