Test Engineer Location:
Raymond, OH Pay:
$36.00 - $41.00 per hour
Schedule:
Onsite 4 days per week, Remote 1 day per week We are seeking a Test Engineer to support automotive product validation, durability testing, and performance evaluation. This is an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates or candidates with 1-3 years of experience who want to build hands-on experience testing vehicle components in a fast-paced engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and validation activities for automotive components and systems. Perform environmental and durability testing, including heat, vibration, rain, and performance testing. Set up test equipment, thermocouples, data acquisition systems, and instrumentation. Analyze test data, interpret results, and determine compliance with engineering specifications and acceptance criteria. Troubleshoot test issues and identify root causes of component failures. Prepare detailed test reports, technical documentation, and engineering presentations. Collaborate with engineering teams to recommend design improvements and corrective actions. Ensure testing accuracy, safety, and adherence to internal standards and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered. Open to recent graduates and candidates with 1-3 years of engineering or testing experience. Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical testing preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with CANalyzer, INCA, data acquisition systems, or automotive testing equipment is a plus. Knowledge of automotive powertrain, engine, transmission, sensor, cooling, or under-hood systems preferred.
