Job Description Join a dynamic and growing team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you will evaluate sales order requirements and specifications to develop innovative solutions. Collaborate with sales, electrical engineers, and drafting teams to produce customer drawings and act as the technical lead on assigned projects. Engage with internal teams including assembly, procurement, and field technicians to resolve issues during startup and project execution. Responsibilities Include Reviews and evaluates sales order requirements\specifications to configure and\or develop solutions Works with Sales and potentially the customer to resolve requirements Works with Electrical Engineers and Drafting to produce customer drawings Acts as the technical lead on assigned projects Works with internal groups such as Assembly, Procurement and field technicians during start up to resolve issues Works with Sales and Applications Engineering Approves project release to Manufacturing Works with Assembly and Test departments to resolve issues encountered during build\test. Work as part of a project team to deliver cost effective, manufacturable designs Provide updates on project status and timeline Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required. 5+ years experience in designing and developing electromechanical equipment. Experience in designing sheet metal products. Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, with a preference for Creo. Experience with OEM design activities. Experience with bill of materials (BOMs). Experience with casting, compressors, pumps, and/or motors. Project management experience. Nice to Have Electrical testing knowledge. Experience with noise attenuation (fan silencers). Customer experience. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience. Understanding of seismic, wind, and vibration calculations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seven Hills, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
