Description Clarke Fire is recognized worldwide as a leading manufacturer of diesel fire pump engines. Clarke engines are available for installation on every continent, in every country. Our team is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer Designer. This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable Mechanical Engineer Designer with diesel engine application experience and a BSME degree to apply their skills in a company that offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and career growth. SUMMARY Maintain current and develop new engine products, systems, components and accessories as necessary to support the strategic objectives of the business unit including but not limited to the following activities: Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods. Determines feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors. Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and/or product engineering planning. Confers with development personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develops design. Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics. Directs and coordinates manufacturing or building of prototype product or system. Define testing and analyzes test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.

EXPERIENCE
Required Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology Required technical drawing experience.
