Work with mass production teams, R&D, parent and other global factories, and/or other departments to develop manufacturing process plans and equipment installation plans. Develop specifications for automated welding and assembly equipment and ensure the machines are built to those specifications. Ensure the quality and performance of new equipment by working with foreign and domestic equipment manufacturers and integrators. Install, review, debug, and confirm equipment. Utilize new manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity and quality of new and current equipment. Provide regular updates to management, customers and project coordination.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Industrial, Welding or related field Experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing processes highly preferred. Previous experience in project management highly preferred. Automation and Controls experience highly preferred. (Robotics, PLCs/HMIs, industrial sensors, vision systems, etc.) Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills. Able to travel and work flexible hours.
