Our client, a stable and consistently profitable engineering consulting firm in the Columbus area, is hiring a Mechanical Engineer PE / Senior Mechanical Engineer PE to lead projects for its mission-critical clients. You'll own projects from concept through completion on data center, telecommunications, commercial, and light industrial work. What you'll do:

• Manage multiple mechanical/HVAC engineering projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, and project stakeholders, and lead project meetings
• Provide HVAC/mechanical engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle
• Support construction activities, with site visits as needed (sometimes about once a week) What we're looking for:
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• 6-20 years of experience in consulting engineering or HVAC construction
• Active Ohio PE license
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, ASHRAE, and related building codes
• HVAC design experience with chillers, rooftop units, piping, and ductwork for commercial and industrial projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane
