A fantastic privately owned company, with 35 years in business is seeking a Qualified Plastic Injection Designer/Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Core Attributes Required 4+ Years mold/tool maker experienced and demonstrated ability to build, repair and troubleshoot injection molds High-cavitation mold experience and familiarity with complex, multi-cavity production tooling CAD model building expertise and strong SolidWorks capability with complex assemblies Full mold layout design of gating, cooling, venting, and ejection systems HDPE molding experience and understanding of flow behavior, shrink, cooling, and high-volume production needs
DFM, GD&T
analysis and ability to design for manufacturability and precision Modular tooling architecture experience with common mold bases, standardized inserts, interchangeable cavities Tooling reuse strategies for designing scalability and asset utilization MasterCAM experience - daily use for machining and toolpath creation Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction and without the need for current or future sponsorship.
