Summary As a Mechanical Designer at GK Machine Inc., you will play a vital role in developing cutting-edge machinery tailored for specialized applications. This position is essential to our mission of combining technology and tradition to deliver high-quality equipment that meets the growing demands of our customers. Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software. Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure product integrity and performance. Collaborate with engineering teams to create innovative solutions for custom equipment. Manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery of designs and prototypes. Utilize logic controllers in system design for enhanced functionality. Participate in root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues and implement improvements. Prepare detailed documentation for designs, specifications, and project updates. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably within manufacturing or equipment design. Strong proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed designs. Experience with FEA tools to analyze mechanical components. Knowledge of system design principles and project management techniques is preferred. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in mechanical systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
