Contract Type FullTime Category Professional Location Corry , PA Salary $25.00/hr Date Published 10-22-2026 Reference Number 26403 Tooling Engineer A growing metal manufacturer is seeking a skilled Tooling Engineer to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of precision stamping dies and tooling. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, improving tooling performance, and working directly with production teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Design, modify, and improve stamping dies and tooling components Troubleshoot tooling issues and production defects, including burrs, splits, galling, and misfeeds Support production by resolving tooling problems and reducing downtime Optimize stamping processes, production speed, material utilization, and scrap reduction Create and maintain die drawings, bills of materials, and preventive maintenance documentation Review customer designs for manufacturability and cost feasibility Coordinate with tooling vendors and internal departments as needed Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED preferred 3-5+ years of experience in metal stamping, tool and die design, or manufacturing engineering Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor Strong understanding of progressive die construction, materials, and heat treatment Knowledge of metal forming and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and around heavy machinery Benefits/Compensation Full-time position $50,000+/yr based on experience First Shift (6am-4:30pm) M-Th four 10hr days Temp to hire or Direct Hire opportunity Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts Location Corry, PA 16407 About Career Concepts Staffing Services, Inc.
