Job Description:

Our client, a leading manufacturer of radiation technology, is hiring a Security Systems Design Engineer to join their team! •This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits!• In this role, you will design and integrate physical security systems including access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance using CAD tools and engineering principles. You will support the full project lifecycle from planning and cost estimating through testing, vendor coordination, installation support, and system commissioning.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop physical security systems using CAD tools, including access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance , and command-and-control system layouts. Coordinate system integration activities across vendors, stakeholders, and project teams, including procurement, staging, testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Support full project lifecycle execution by preparing cost estimates, participating in design reviews, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years' experience. Knowledge of access control, IDS, video, and command systems. CAD proficiency with basic electrical and IT systems knowledge. Strong cross-functional teamwork and communication skills.
