OPT/CPT Interns - Engineer (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)

Work includes field evaluations, condition assessments, repair recommendations, and support for rehabilitation and improvement projects. Responsibilities Provide engineering support for civil, electrical, and mechanical projects. Perform field visits to document existing conditions and collect data. Assist with engineering calculations and basic design tasks. Prepare field reports, sketches, and photo documentation. Review drawings and specifications for coordination with field conditions. Support development of repair recommendations and preliminary cost estimates. Coordinate with project engineers and construction teams. Track field issues and assist with resolution. Support preparation of technical documentation and deliverables. Follow safety procedures during site work and inspections. Minimum Requirements BS in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. OPT candidates eligible to work in the

U.S. 0-3

years of internship, co-op, or engineering experience. Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to travel to project sites as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software. Exposure to construction, infrastructure, or field inspection work. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in both field and office environments. Positions are designed and open to International students who will be graduating or have graduated from an American University.
