Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

New Product Development Lead the development and commercialization of all new aerosol, beverage, and specialty packaging products for the CCL Container Division. Partner with customers, operations, and engineering teams to transform concepts into manufacturable products that meet performance, quality, and commercial objectives.Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end product development from concept through production launch.
- Create product concepts utilizing 2D engineering drawings and 3D modeling tools.
- Conduct product and manufacturing feasibility assessments to ensure technical and commercial viability.
- Develop, build, and validate prototypes to confirm design intent and performance requirements.
- Prepare quotations and oversee the design, development, procurement, and commissioning of complete tooling packages in accordance with new product development guidelines.
- Lead tooling qualification activities and validate all new tooling before release into production.
- Perform container sizing and overfill capacity (OFC) calculations for new product designs and shape configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support in solving manufacturing and product-related issues.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance production specifications for current aerosol shape offerings.
- Design, source, and implement new neck-down and shape-forming tooling.
- Determine optimal slug sizes for new product introductions to ensure process efficiency and product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical documentation to support container manufacturing.
- Manage and maintain customer specifications, ensuring alignment with production capabilities, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the technical custodian for product specifications, ensuring accuracy, revision control, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Proficient with SolidWorks.
- Inspect and verify GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, profilers, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing)
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to loud, depending on the work location.Pay:
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:
