Mechanical Engineer Mechanicsburg, PAFull-TimeFacilities Job OpeningsMechanical Engineer Apply To Position Use My Indeed Resume Apply Using LinkedIn Erdman Anthony is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work with architects and building owners under the guidance of a Professional Engineer to translate owner needs into a building design that is buildable, cost-effective, and sustainable.
Responsibilities:
Calculate heating and cooling loads using Carrier HAP software to size equipment Estimate energy use and savings using EQuest and other simulation programs Lay out ductwork, piping and equipment using AutoCAD software Model building HVAC and plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit software Survey buildings: take photos, measurements, assess equipment Calculate pipe sizes for refrigeration systems using Excel and other tools Answer construction questions relevant to your designs Meet with utilities to work out building connections Perform energy code compliance calculations Model buildings for LEED Energy credits
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from
EAC/ABET
certified school Experience in HVAC or Plumbing design Engineer in Training certification preferred, PE a plus Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work well in a team environment
