Electrical/Mechanical Engineer for our Engineering Team Everson Tesla is searching for an electrical engineer to work as a member of our engineering team to focus on the design and manufacture of high voltage coils and rotating electric machines for specific customers and contracts. The engineer will interface on other programs as required. This individual will work as a member of our engineering team to perform the following functions: Collaborate in the design of a product. Develop drawings and manufacturing instructions / travelers which provide accurate instructions to supervisors and assembly technicians to manufacture the product. Specify test equipment and develop procedures to test the product. Design and develop the necessary tooling to manufacture the product. Develop the quotation proposal for the customer which details material, labor, and tooling pricing required to manufacture the product. Work closely with other engineers, supervisors and assembly technicians in a supportive role to manufacture and test the product. Assure that the manufactured product meets all customer requirements. Maintain compliance with all internal and customer document control requirements throughout the manufacturing process. Assemble all supporting manufacturing and test documentation required to be shipped with the product. Support the design of new products and product revisions.
Reporting Relationships:
The Electrical Engineer reports to the Senior Electrical Engineer on staff.

Qualifications and Requirement:
BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Experience and/or course work in designing, evaluating, building components used in motors, stators, rotors and other rotating equipment desired, but not required. Experience and/or course work in electromagnetics a plus. Experience with Curtiss-Wright a plus Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point. Experience with 3-D modeling software, Solid Works is preferred. Knowledge of Ansys, MATLAB, Excel VBA, Python, MS Project are a plus but not a requirement. Ability to work constructively in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with management and manufacturing technicians. Demonstrate excellent organizational skills. Ability to work with electrical test equipment and mechanical tools. Willing to do some travel for product support and to support sales team on customer visits as required. Because we manufacture products which are installed in DOD equipment, all candidates must be a United States citizen.
