Mechanical Design Engineer - Direct Hire in York Offered Salary $80,000 Full time position 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Retirement/401K Manpower is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer for a direct hire opportunity.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with experience designing custom machinery and working in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Create conceptual designs, detailed drawings, and assembly layouts for conveyors and bakery/food processing equipment Develop fabrication-ready drawings in accordance with company standards Produce detailed layouts to ensure proper tolerances and clearances Participate in and contribute to design reviews Manage project timelines by tracking progress, coordinating tasks, and resolving issues Apply strong technical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve design challenges Independently complete assignments within established timelines Identify required materials and generate purchase requisitions Perform engineering calculations, including motor sizing and structural integrity Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical preferred but not required 3-5 years of design experience in a manufacturing or machinery environment Proficiency with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Experience Equipment design Custom machinery manufacturing Sanitary design principles Conveyor systems and sheet metal design Are you Interested?
