Job Description
If you're a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys owning precision design work and backing it up with real analysis, this could be the right move. We're working on behalf of a client seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong GD&T foundation and hands-on FEA experience, plus the ability to take designs from concept through release while collaborating closely with fabrication and cross-functional teams. This is a fully onsite Mechanical Engineer opportunity with minimal travel. Requirements BS (or MS) in Mechanical Engineering 3+ years in mechanical design in a manufacturing environment (machinery or custom equipment) Strong GD&T skills and comfort applying it to drawings and assemblies FEA experience (Creo tools preferred, but comparable analysis experience works) CAD proficiency (3D modeling in Creo preferred; 2D detailing in AutoCAD) Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical components Strong technical communication and documentation habits (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email) Main duties Produce detailed drawings, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and accurate BOMs Apply GD&T appropriately to drive manufacturability, inspection clarity, and build quality Perform FEA and other design analysis to confirm designs meet requirements Build conceptual designs and iterate through stakeholder feedback during design reviews Support project schedules by releasing mechanical documentation on time and within budget expectations Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot design and build issues Partner with fabrication during assembly and testing, and support final acceptance Contribute to installation, operation, and maintenance documentation when needed Provide technical support after equipment ships as required Perks and benefits Competitive pay based on experience Benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays Training and development support Collaborative, engineering-driven team environment W2 only
