Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for developing full-vehicle mechanical designs, 3D models, analysis support, composites, molds, tooling, and related engineering documentation. Job Requirements U.S. citizenship required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 3 years of engineering experience Experience with Siemens NX 2406 or newer for parametric 3D modeling Experience with ANSYS Mechanical Analysis Mechanical design experience beyond billet and sheet metal components Experience with full-vehicle systems and subsystem interaction Experience in racing, motorsports, automotive, aerospace, or related vehicle engineering environments Experience with composite design, mold design, and tooling design Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint Ability to support 5% travel to customer site Ability to work a hybrid schedule Preferred Skills Windchill product lifecycle management experience Racing or motorsports vehicle design experience Composite tooling design experience Sheet metal and billet component design experience Technical writing experience for engineering documentation Experience supporting customer-facing engineering reviews Job Responsibilities Develop mechanical designs for vehicle components, assemblies, and systems Create parametric 3D models using Siemens NX Support mechanical analysis activities using ANSYS Mechanical Design billet, sheet metal, composite, mold, and tooling components Evaluate full-vehicle system interactions during design development Prepare engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation Support product lifecycle management activities using Windchill or similar systems Review design requirements and develop mechanical solutions Support design revisions based on analysis results, manufacturing requirements, and project needs Coordinate mechanical design work with related engineering disciplines Participate in engineering reviews and customer site activities as required
