• ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES

  As a mechanical analysis engineer for Undersea Mission Systems, you"ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and analysis of critical undersea hardware. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
• Experience with ANSYS and MATLAB analysis tools, and ability to train others on these tools
• Experience with Shock Grade B by analysis
• Strong knowledge of material specifications and metallurgy What sets you apart:

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.

Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
