Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our cutting-edge engineering team. In this role, you will drive the development, design, and optimization of mechanical systems and components across a variety of projects. Your expertise will help shape the future of our products and solutions, ensuring they meet rigorous standards and exceed customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex system design, manufacturing processes, and advanced engineering applications in a fast-paced environment that values creativity, precision, and technical excellence. Duties Lead mechanical design efforts utilizing CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo to develop detailed schematics and 3D models. Perform mechanical analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to validate designs under various operational conditions. Develop and review technical drawings adhering to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for manufacturing accuracy. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate system design elements, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, and LabVIEW-based control systems. Conduct root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues to implement effective corrective actions. Support manufacturing processes by creating detailed schematics, drafting instructions, and overseeing CNC machining operations. Apply industry standards such as ASME codes & standards during design validation and testing phases to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations. Utilize simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink for dynamic system modeling and performance prediction in quantum engineering applications. Assist in project scheduling by defining milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of mechanical components. Contribute to system design improvements through innovative mechanical solutions that enhance efficiency and reliability. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven experience with CAD software including SolidWorks and Creo for mechanical design and drafting. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, GD&T, FEA, and system schematics development. Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, 3D printing, and assembly techniques. Familiarity with control systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Simulink. Ability to perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures using systematic troubleshooting methods. Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels, piping, or structural components. Experience working with mechanical knowledge in quantum engineering or related high-tech fields is advantageous. $81,966.38 - $140,000.00 per year
