This role offers strong mentorship and a clear path into project management, with direct client interaction and increasing responsibility over time. You'll contribute to diverse project types including healthcare, commercial, high-rise, and institutional facilities, while working in a collaborative, growth-focused environment with a strong emphasis on employee development and long-term career progression. Responsibilities Apply engineering judgment to design mechanical systems across a variety of building types Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design Select and specify equipment including pumps, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and fans Develop designs using AutoCAD and Revit, incorporating revisions as needed Prepare basis-of-design reports and respond to client comments Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and standards Support energy-efficient design efforts including LEED and COMCheck documentation Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams Assist with additional project-related tasks as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field PE license preferred 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience (field experience required) Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building codes, and construction processes Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong communication and problem-solving skills #
RGIND Pay:
$83,226.91 - $100,230.26 per year
