Ensure compliance and quality across commercial building systems What You'll Do Engineering & Plan Review Perform peer reviews of mechanical plans for code compliance Evaluate construction documents for adherence to mechanical and plumbing codes Collaborate with architectural, electrical, and fire protection teams Inspection & Project Oversight Conduct mechanical inspections on commercial projects Oversee construction activities to ensure alignment with approved designs Support and lead mechanical construction project management efforts Project Management & Leadership Manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff What You Bring Experience 3+ years in mechanical engineering design (required) Experience in mechanical construction project management preferred Technical Skills Proficiency in: AutoCAD Revit Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Project management software Working knowledge of: Architectural, electrical, and fire protection systems Mechanical and plumbing codes Code Knowledge Strong understanding of: National codes (NEC, ICC) Local codes and supplements (Maryland, DC, Virginia) Core Competencies Self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Able to perform under pressure with professionalism and tact Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, polished demeanor with a strong sense of accountability Who You Are You're a motivated Mechanical Engineer who enjoys both the technical and leadership sides of projects.
