Mechanical Engineer I

Job Summary The Mechanical Engineer I is responsible for performing research, development, design, and testing of product. Design work is monitored and reviewed by a senior level engineer. Primary Job Responsibilities Work in a team environment to analyze requirements from the customer and develop design solutions Support on-site or remote factory production Complete 3D design of parts and assemblies, and create 2D part and assembly drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks/Inventor preferred) Participates as a drawing checker to ensure items are detailed correctly Participates in engineering review meetings Communicates with suppliers/vendors as required Builds and analyzes prototypes Conduct laboratory testing of products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards Create Operation & Maintenance Manual and/or Installation Instructions for Products Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 2-5 years experience a plus Proficiency in using solid modeling CAD software (experience with Inventor/SolidWorks a plus) Proficient with MS office Products Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced production environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Who are we Raycap, Inc. creates products that protect and support the world s most valuable assets.
