Our services include MEP Engineering Design, Technology Systems Design, and Specialty Lighting Design. We work hard but our hours are flexible. Some things you'll be responsible for: Leading the design for various construction projects with a strong knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts. Designing HVAC systems, including equipment specification and selection. Performing thermal load and energy calculations as required. Managing projects to ensure successful delivery of project milestones. Coordinating project-related communication between clients and team members. Tracking project open items and working with clients to resolve issues. Conducting project site visits, documenting existing conditions, and attending client meetings if needed. Complying with all authorities and staying current on all applicable code requirements.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Professional Engineering (PE) license required for the state of Florida. 5-10 years of experience in mechanical HVAC design. 3-5 years of experience in project management. AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency. Professional, positive, solution-driven, willing to learn. Strong desire to produce quality work and meet project deadlines. Excellent client-facing skills, including communication and follow-through. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Candidate must be located in Broward, Miami-Dade, or Palm Beach County.

Additional preferred qualifications:

Plumbing system design. Fire protection system design. LEED AP.
