Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) Join a highly collaborative and growth-focused Building Engineering team delivering comprehensive mechanical design solutions for complex building projects. The Opportunity Lead the mechanical design and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects, including new construction, renovations, and design/build initiatives. Partner directly with clients to develop innovative system concepts, perform feasibility analyses, and guide decision-making through technical expertise and clear communication. Oversee project execution from concept through construction, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with client objectives. Leadership & Impact Serve as a technical leader for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and process piping), driving design excellence across projects. Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Manage project scope, budgets, and schedules while maintaining high standards of delivery and client satisfaction. Strategic Growth & Client Engagement Play a key role in business development, including proposal development, client engagement, and pursuit strategy. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through responsiveness, reliability, and technical credibility. Contribute to the expansion of a dynamic, employee-focused engineering practice. What You Bring Professional Engineer (PE) license (North Carolina preferred) with 10+ years of experience in an A/E consulting environment. Expertise in mechanical systems design for buildings, including HVAC system selection, layout, and coordination. Proficiency in Revit / Revit MEP and experience producing high-quality construction documents. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and multi-discipline teams.
