Job Description

A dynamic full-service engineering firm in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Mechanical Lead Engineer/Designer to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact projects across aviation, science and technology, healthcare, entertainment, hospitality, retail, workplace, higher education, and government sectors while building a long-term career with a company known for sustainability, LEED-focused work, Fortune 500 clients, and strong growth opportunities. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Lead Engineer/Designer position include: Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college 6+ years of related building systems industry experience Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD, design software tools, and Microsoft Office Suite Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred Serve as the main technical point of contact for projects while coordinating with project managers on scope, schedule, budget, and quality Develop technical designs, owner project requirements, design options, and solutions for complex building systems Mentor less experienced staff, provide technical guidance, and support company design standards and best practices Lead construction administration, QA/QC documentation, design coordination, and project delivery within budgeted hours
Salary :
$89,400 - $129,400 per year, commensurate with experience.
