Job Summary Mechanical Engineering Co-Op To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Student for our Co-op located in our Orangeburg, SC site. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and other cross-functional teams. What a typical day looks like: Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD Monitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projects Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team Attend team meetings and support project work as needed Student qualities we're seeking for this Co-op assignment: Junior/Senior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering major CAD tools (Solidworks) experience Lean/Six Sigma helpful Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills Previous internship experience a plus!
