Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer supports plant engineering activities, including production line layout development, equipment installation, tooling support, and automation system commissioning. This role works closely with Engineering, Production, Process Engineer, and external suppliers to support new factory setup, equipment integration, manufacturing improvement, and daily plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support developing and modifying production line layouts using CAD tools, including equipment arrangement, material flow, and facility planning. Coordinate with third-party equipment suppliers, contractors, and vendors to support equipment installation, integration, commissioning, and technical issue resolution. Support Tooling Engineers and Process Engineers with mold, machine, and component dimensional verification, drawing review, and technical evaluations. Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of extrusion blow molding equipment and related manufacturing systems. Support mechanical debugging, improvement, and maintenance activities for downstream automation equipment, including conveyors, leak testers, inspection systems, and packaging equipment. Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), equipment documentation, and technical records. Support preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency. Maintain engineering drawings, equipment specifications, and technical documentation. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to mechanical, tooling, and equipment issues. Provide hands-on engineering support for daily manufacturing operations and facility improvement projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering field. 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing equipment, or industrial automation preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, CAD drafting, and engineering drawings. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals. Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, or process improvement activities. Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with plastic processing equipment, extrusion blow molding, or packaging machinery is a plus. Experience with automation systems, conveyors, inspection equipment, or production line integration. Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools. Experience developing Work Instructions, SOPs, and engineering documentation. Experience working in

ISO 9001, ISO

15378, GMP, or regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
