Job Description

job summary: A Senior Mechanical Engineer is needed for a leading EPC organization in the Knoxville, TN area. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will provide critical technical support to proposal and project teams for the design, execution, and commissioning of renewable energy and waste treatment systems. You are responsible for ensuring all mechanical engineering deliverables aligned with standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements. Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, with at least five years of experience in complex industrial systems. You should possess demonstrated expertise in equipment sizing calculations and the preparation of technical documentation like P&IDs and equipment specifications. Preference is given to those with PE registration and hands-on experience in on-site construction or commissioning. This is a hybrid-role, and our client will consider relocation assistance for qualified regional candidates.
