Seatrax specializes in highly customized complex projects with customers in every corner of the world. Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Design Engineer . We are seeking a talented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about designing innovative machinery solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from initial concept to detailed design, contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design machinery components and systems, including structures, gear reducers, motors, bearings, hydraulics, and electronics.
- Develop new designs based on customer specifications and industry standards.
- Create repair and modification plans for existing machinery to improve performance and reliability.
- Generate detailed models and technical drawings of designs using CAD software.
- Prepare bills of materials for large-scale projects to facilitate procurement and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, manufacturing, purchasing, and electrical departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of machinery components, hydraulics, electronics, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple disciplines and departments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
