Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to join our manufacturing team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on complex machinery, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal equipment performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical repair, with experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and calibration. A background in industrial electrician work, CNC machinery, vision inspection systems, and familiarity with AutoCAD is highly desirable. Customer service skills are considered valuable assets. This role requires a detail-oriented professional committed to safety, precision, and continuous improvement. Duties Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and calibration instruments Basic understanding of electrical components such as sensors, motors, VFDs, and limit switches. Conduct calibration of sensors, vision inspection systems, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy Beverage line knowledge of liquid filling systems, including volumetric and flow-based fillers. Awareness of carbonation, pressure, and temperature impacts on filling performance. Understanding of capping, sealing, and torque control systems. Familiarity with CIP (Clean-In-Place) concepts and hygienic design principles. Read and interpret technical schematics, AutoCAD drawings, and system documentation for troubleshooting and repairs Install, modify, and upgrade electrical and mechanical systems using industry standards Conduct field service activities at various plant locations as needed Support manufacturing operations by ensuring machinery operates efficiently with minimal downtime Maintain detailed maintenance logs and reports to track repairs and improvements Qualifications Proven experience in industrial maintenance with strong electrical (industrial electrician experience) and mechanical knowledge Hands-on expertise with hydraulics, sensors, PLCs (including Calypso), CNC machinery, vision inspection systems, and DCS. Proper interaction with HMIs for fault identification and machine status. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems safely Familiarity with calibration procedures for sensors and precision instruments Knowledge of industrial safety standards related to high voltage and field service operations Strong troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters Military background or experience in a disciplined environment is a plus Excellent customer service skills for internal support roles within manufacturing environments Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced industrial settings This Maintenance Mechanic role offers an engaging opportunity for professionals dedicated to maintaining manufacturing equipment while ensuring safety standards are upheld.
