Full-Time Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/EIT with 3-5 years of experience to join their San Antonio team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing HVAC and mechanical building systems and be interested in progressing toward their Texas PE. Current San Antonio opportunities emphasize commercial, healthcare, education, municipal, and industrial projects. Responsibilities Design HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings. Perform heating/cooling load calculations and equipment sizing. Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, electrical, plumbing, and structural teams. Assist with site visits, field investigations, and construction administration. Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals. Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and ASHRAE standards. Support project managers with schedules, budgets, and client coordination. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience. EIT certification required or strongly preferred. Experience with HVAC/mechanical building design . Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD . Experience with Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP , or similar software is a plus. Knowledge of ASHRAE, IMC, and applicable building codes . Strong communication and project coordination skills. Currently pursuing a Texas PE license preferred #RMIND Pay:
