Position Summary A CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) Equipment and Installation Engineer is responsible for the setup, calibration, and maintenance of precision polishing systems used to planarize semiconductor wafers. They ensure that equipment is installed according to strict technical specifications and optimized for maximum yield and stability in a cleanroom environment. Their primary goal is to minimize defects and maintain precise surface flatness through rigorous hardware troubleshooting and process validation.

Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

Technical Proficiency in Schematics & Blueprints Electromechanical Troubleshooting Rigging and Material Handling Commissioning and Validation of Facilities Systems Project & Time Management Adaptability and Field Problem-Solving Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field Proficiency in

Technical Documentation:

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, electrical schematics

Hands-on Equipment or Instruments Competency:

Demonstrated ability to be successful with physical interaction with hardware Safety Certifications and Compliance Knowledge Certification or documented training in LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and OSHA (or equivalent regional) general industry safety standards Field Experience (Commissioning/Installation): A minimum of 4 years of experience in equipment commissioning, field service, or industrial maintenance The current base salary range for this role is between $106,000 - $145,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
