Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer performs calculations, develops data sheets of equipment, prepares RFQ, and technical bid assessment. They generate technical clarification by interacting with vendors and suppliers to get the most optimum design according to project specifications, codes, and industry standards. They analyze technical issues and come up with cost effective design solutions to solve them.

Produces outline designs and draws prototypes for various plant and machinery albeit under supervision. Operates a wide range of production machinery and describes their functions. Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings and schematics. Designs and draws mechanical component prototypes (for various plant and machinery) making use of Computer Aided Design. Incorporates mechanical safety procedure into various machine installation and maintenance activities Articulates mechanical operating procedure and applies them in resolving system malfunctions. Conducts maintenance associated with diesel engines, steam and gas turbines, auxiliary systems, mechanical governors. Responsibilities:
Provide mechanical engineeringexpertisein theearly stagesof design and product development Investigate and analyze complex mechanical design and construction problems for assigned projects Provide technical review of mechanical engineering design calculations, analyses, drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards Collect and review all project design documents Work on multiple projects/tasks as needed to meet schedule Team up with peer engineers to deliver deliverables with quality Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to keep track of tasks, deliverables, and schedule Prepare data sheet, bid tabs, RFQ/RFP packages, and perform calculation Learn all Shaw tools to efficiently support the team on the design of modular refinery package
Education:
Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor'sdegree) or equivalent
Certification:
Professional Engineer License preferred
Knowledge:
ASME Section VIII Code Calculations (Intermediate) knowledge PV Elite (Intermediate) and Compress software working experience Conversant with

5 - 10 years of related experience working with an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction company PV Elite and Compress software Experience interfacing with project, client, and vendor personnel. Interdisciplinary checks
