Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer to join a Government Consulting company located in Western TX through 100% onsite work. The Test Engineer will conduct environmental testing of aerospace/defense hardware, including vibration, thermal vacuum (TVAC), and acoustic test operations.
Responsibilities:
Support planning, setup, and execution of vibration, TVAC, acoustic, and shock testing. Operate electrodynamic shakers, thermal vacuum chambers, and acoustic test facilities. Install and troubleshoot instrumentation including accelerometers, thermocouples, microphones, and strain gauges. Configure data acquisition systems and perform post ‑ test data analysis. Generate detailed test reports and support engineering teams with test findings.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in environmental test engineering or related testing roles. Knowledge of vibration test systems, thermal vacuum chamber operation, acoustic test methods, DAQ systems, and data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW). (Certifications, if any) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
Compensation:
Salary Range:
$85,000- $100,000/ year depending on experience
